Interactive whiteboards are electronic boards which via a computer are connected with a projector. As distinct from conventional boards or whiteboards, the panel painting of interactive whiteboards is just virtual. Data are entered the computer and then projected on the board. Whiteboards exist in the form of mobile boards as well as fixed boards. The use of a computer and a projector enables multidialectical presentations In the meantime, interactive whiteboards are also available in the form of panel displays which are put on the presenter´s desk. The use of a panel display makes a whiteboard unnecessary, because the panel painting can now be projected on a wall. This enables presentations to large crowds.
